The client had been utilising the services of a number of generic agencies but were unimpressed by their understanding of their business, the quality of candidates presented, poor service, and ultimately lack of delivery.
Spencer Edwards consulted with the Head of Compliance, gaining a detailed understanding of the business and provided guidance on their requirement. It was established that a key team player was required and that the individual would need to be significantly more experienced than they had originally anticipated.
Spencer Edwards provided further market intelligence and guidance in order to demonstrate that the client needed to increase their budget, if they were to gain the calibre of individual they sought. Spencer Edwards offered a flat fee structure for our service in order to gain commitment from the client whilst providing value for money and reassurance over our unbiased recommendations.
Working exclusively on this project, Spencer Edwards was able to go out into the market to sell the long-term opportunity for the role, and over a fortnight were able to profile, benchmark and identify a longlist of candidates both technically and culturally suitable for the role.
After further profiling and analysis, a final shortlist of 5 candidates was presented to the client offering a variety of solutions within budget.
