On the back of Spencer Edwards’ previous relationship and dealings with the client’s CRO, we were invited to review the current need and provide a solution / recruitment strategy.
Following a consultative discussion with the CRO, CFO, and MD, we put together a detailed job specification and assignment brief based upon essential core skills and personality traits. It was clear that in the local northern market, there was a shortage of both direct competitors
(and potential candidates) from which to source the right person from. In order to attract the right calibre of future employee we advised the business to increase the salary by 28%, and agreed a flat fee to provide reassurance of our unbiased assistance in selection.
We undertook an exclusive direct headhunt, along with a regional networking campaign, gaining recommendations and referrals for individuals not easily identified by traditional market mapping methods.
